Uiteindelijk weer een berichtje

Ik had het zo druk met handwerken dat ik helemaal was vergeten dat er ook nog iets op mijn blog geschreven moest worden, totdat ik vanmorgen eraan herinnerdt werd door mijn handwerk vriendinnetje Silvia.   Wat voelden ik me schuldig, maar toch blij met de boodschap.   Gelukkig had ik was artikelen uit mijn winkeltje verkocht, dus kon ik dit ook weer aanvullen.   Het patroon van het uiltje kreeg ik ook van een handwerk vriendinnetje Simone, en werd zo enthousiast dat ik er meteen 3 heb gemaakt.   Leuk werkje, en weer eens wat anders.

I was so busy being creative, that I completely forgot that I had to write on my blog regularly, until I was reminded by mail by one of my Bee friends Silvia.   As I felt rather quilty, I got stuck in immediately, and here are some of the results.   I sold a couple of articles from my webshop, so was also able to place a couple of new articles.   The patterns concerning the owl were mailed to me by my Bee friend Simone, and I got so enthousiastic that I immediately made three.   Nothing in small quantities at this side of the equator.

Een paar weken geleden was ik opeens in een kruissteek bui.   Heerlijk weer mijn oude hobby opgepakt, maar oh dat getel, zeker als manlief televisie zit te kijken.   Maar het in me toch gelukt, en ik ben blij met het resultaat.

A couple of weeks ago I was infected with the cross stitch bug, something I used to do a lot of years ago (in my younger days).   I enjoyed making all sorts of articles but the counting of the stitches was quite a chore with DH watching television.   Never mind, sometimes one has to make sacrifices, and I am happy with the result.

Om de week ga ik op een vrijdagochted naar Lochem (Rietje van Slagmaat).   Het is altijd een gezellige boel, en ik leer er erg veel, wat een fijne bijkomstigheid is.   Er is eigenlijk elke week een nieuw project, maar daar kom ik niet aan toe.   Ik vond het wel leuk om de poppendekentjes te maken, dus daar heb ik wel aan meegedaan.   Op de bovenste foto heb ik drie dezelfde dekentjes gemaakt, maar telkens met andere stofjes.   Wat zien ze er dan toch heel anders uit!

Every second week I go to Lochem.   Quite a drive from my house, but well worth the effort.   They almost start a new project every week.........but time is my problem.   I liked the dolly blankets as they are small projects and I can almost make one in an afternoon.    The top foto shows the same blanket, made with different fabrics.   Is'nt it amazing how different they look?

Ik had al een tijdje een leuke stitchery in de kast liggen waar ik toch maar eens aan moest beginnen, en nu is hij af.   Weer iets van mijn 'to do' lijst af.   Ik heb altijd het idee dat als ik één artikel af heb, er weer tien bijkomen.    Ook maakte ik deze leuke speldenkussentjes.   Beide hetzelfde patroon, maar anders in elkaar gezet.    Als er weer plaats is in mijn winkeltje worden deze artikelen allemaal te koop aangeboden.

For sometime I had the itch to make this stitchery, it was at the bottom of my 'to do' box.   I am excited with the result.   It seems to me, that everytime I finish an articles, there are about ten moren entering my 'to do' box.    How is it that I can never find the bottom of this box?   For the pincushions I used the same patterns twice but put the pieces together in a different way.
Eventually all the articles will appear in my webshop, but I first have to be patient for more space.
